2. About Smile Givers International
Smile Givers International (SGI) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 61-2107558). Our mission is to provide humanitarian aid, emergency relief, and sustainable development support to vulnerable communities in Gaza, Syria, Sudan, and other regions in need.
3. Donations
3.1 Donation Processing
All donations made through this Site are processed securely through our payment processors. By making a donation, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3.2 Tax Deductibility
Donations to Smile Givers International are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law in the United States. Donors will receive an email receipt that can be used for tax purposes. For donations of $250 or more, a formal acknowledgment letter will be provided upon request.
3.3 Refund Policy
If you believe an error has occurred in connection with your donation, please contact us at info@sgi.ngo within 30 days of the donation date. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and granted at our sole discretion.
3.4 Use of Funds
While we make every effort to direct donations to specific campaigns as requested by donors, SGI reserves the right to allocate funds where they are most needed if a specific campaign is fully funded or circumstances change. We maintain a 100% transparency policy and provide regular impact reports to donors.
4. Zakat and Religious Donations
4.1 Zakat Policy
SGI operates under a strict 100% Zakat policy. This means that 100% of Zakat donations are distributed directly to eligible recipients according to Islamic guidelines. No administrative fees or overhead costs are deducted from Zakat funds.
4.2 Islamic Compliance
Our Zakat distribution follows Islamic principles and is overseen by qualified advisors. We ensure that Zakat reaches the eight categories of recipients as specified in the Quran (Surah At-Tawbah 9:60).
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of Smile Givers International or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
