How do I know the aid reaches children?
SGI has delivered aid since 2023 and reports from the field with photos and video. Sponsors also receive updates about the child they are matched with.
Can I give my zakat?
Yes, through the separate Zakat al-Mal fund in the giving section above. Zakat gifts are not counted in this page's totals. SGI operates a 100% zakat policy: every dollar of zakat goes to zakat-eligible recipients, with distribution reviewed by SGI's sharia advisors.
